Using the site
EzyClock is free to use, for anything you like, personal or commercial — timing a workout, running a classroom, displaying the time in a shop. There is no account, no licence to accept and no usage limit. By using the site you agree to the terms on this page.
What the tools are suitable for
The clock reads your device's own system clock, and the timer and stopwatch are accurate to a hundredth of a second under normal conditions. That is more than enough for cooking, studying, exercise, presentations, classroom use and general timekeeping.
It is not suitable where being late or wrong would be serious. Specifically, do not rely on it for:
- Medication timing, medical procedures or anything affecting someone's health.
- Officiating competitive sport or any result that will be recorded formally.
- Legal or contractual deadlines.
- Waking up for something you cannot miss — use your phone's built-in alarm, which the operating system guarantees to run.
Two honest limitations behind that advice. First, the clock is only as accurate as your own device — if your computer's clock is wrong, so is this. Second, phones suspend browser tabs when the screen is off, which can delay or silence the countdown alarm. Neither is something a web page can fix.
Availability
The site is provided as-is, with no guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or error-free. It may change or be withdrawn at any time without notice. Features that depend on outside services — the weather on the home page, the fonts, the background photographs — can stop working if those services change or become unavailable.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EzyClock is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site — including any consequence of a timer, alarm or clock being inaccurate, delayed or not firing. Your only remedy if you are unhappy with the site is to stop using it. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot be limited by law.
Advertising and third-party links
The site carries advertising from Google AdSense. Ads are selected by Google, not by us, and their appearance is not an endorsement. We are not responsible for the content, products or practices of any advertiser or any site you reach by following a link from here.
Content and reuse
The design, code and written content of EzyClock belong to us. You are welcome to link to any page. Do not copy the site wholesale, present it as your own, or embed it in a way that hides where it came from. The weather photographs on the home page are the property of their respective photographers and are used under the Unsplash License.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site or the servers behind it, scrape it automatically at a volume that degrades it for others, or interfere with how advertising is displayed to other visitors.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date at the top changes when they are. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. Questions go to the contact page.
